In addition to playing and writing music while on tour, e sharp (aka ill ease) takes photos and collects them into photographic series. Some of these series are in the collection of MOMA in NY. Some of them are available as postcard series and as limited edition flipbooks, seen below.
In August 2009, The Art of Touring was published by Yeti Publishing. The book and DVD set include art, photographs, and writing by musicians reflecting life on the road. Edited by Sara Jaffe (Erase Errata) and Mia Clarke (Electrelane), it includes elizabeth sharp's photography along with photography by Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Andy Moor (The Ex), Munaf Rayani (Explosions In The Sky), Rebecca Gates & more.
